Dr Molly Cooper
Molly grew up near Anakie on a small hobby farm and attended Kardinia International College in
She studied a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Bachelor of Veterinary Biology double degree at
Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga.
Following graduation in mid 2017 Molly started working with us as a mixed practice vet,
with a keen interest in ruminant medicine and small animal surgery.
Since graduation Molly has completed further education in poultry (chicken) medicine and
small animal orthopaedic (bone) surgery.
Dr Bridie Brosnan
Dr Bridie began working with us in 2014 as a veterinary nurse when she began
studying a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at University of Melbourne which she
graduated with Honours at the end of 2017.
Dr Bridie has been working with us as one of our amazing vets since January 2018.
Her main interests are small animal medicine and equine general practice.
Dr Bride has a Dogue de Bordeaux called Homer, a cat called Shirley and multiple
Standardbreds that she helps her husband Emmett to train and race in her off time.
Dr Sally Adams
Dr Sally works part time at Golden Plains Animal Hospital as needed.
She is a wealth of knowlege.
Her passion is reptiles.
Dr Abby Main
Dr Abby grew up in the Grampians and was drawn to living in the Geelong area due to the
versatile lifestyle our region offers!
Dr Abby greatly impressed us while undertaking placement with us in her final year of university
, and we promptly offered her a job when she graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine
from the University of Sydney in 2020.
Dr Abby’s main interest lies with small animal internal medicine and wildlife medicine.
The love of Dr Abby’s life is her beautiful Golden Retriever, Murphy! Who loves going for
long walks and to the beach! Outside of work Abby enjoys fitness training and catching up with
friends and family.
Emma began with us in early 2019 as a nursing student. Her positive attitude and eagerness to learn impressed
us and we were lucky to hire Emma after she graduated in late 2019.
She has a cocker spaniel called Asher, a whippet called Max and a ginger cat called Texas.
Emma’s favourite part of the day is seeing animals return home at the end of the day, happy and healthy
with their owners!
Tegan started nursing in 2015 and joined GPAH in 2019.
She has a pedigree German Shorthaired Pointer called Milky Joe, and a one-eyed rescued terrier
called Pirate. She also has two horses who she competes in local events.
Tegan loves all aspects of veterinary nursing and the fact that no two days in this job are the same!
She is the nail trimming queen and has a soft spot for all terriers!
Sam joined our team in 2020 after graduating his veterinary nursing course in 2019.
He has a huge soft spot for cats, and has two of his own called Bella and Lily.
Sam has a keen interest in microbiology and creates miniature terrariums as a hobby.
Sam finds the diverse nature of veterinary nursing the most interesting part of his job.
He also loves seeing the relationships we create between clients and their animals
Faye began work at Golden Plains Animal Hospital June 2020, as our full time receptionist.
Faye has had many years on the animal industry, from dog grooming, equine, pet retail and
Her main interests are horses, owning a part bred curly horse "Rocky" and her cat "Baz",
plus many birds and fish over the years.
She has loved becoming part of the team at Golden Plains Animal Hospital.
Charyn is our go to when something needs to be done. She handles all the accounting side of the
business but can turn her hand to vet nursing.
Charyn started nursing (a long time ago) and then ventured out into business management work
for many years.
She has come to us with a lot of knowledge that is put to the test day in day out.
She has a partner and lives on 64 acres with her horse, 3 dogs and pet Lorikeet.
